The sea around our coast has glorious beaches and when the sun is out it can provide a 'bracing' dip. Remember to observe all the usual safety rules when swimming outdoors.

If you are feeling less adventurous there is a leisure pool at Dunbar, complete with flumes and a wave machine, and a swimming pool in Haddington, which also has a seperate pool for wee ones. Surfing at Belhaven

There is great surfing all along the coast at venues such as Belhaven, Ravensheugh, Seacliff, Thorton Loch and many more. There is an active local surf club - http://www.belhavensurf.com/ and local firms Coast to Coast - http://www.c2csurfschool.com/ and Puronectar Surf - http://www.puronectarsurf.com/ run surf lessons. Puro Nectar also have surf shop in Dunbar.
