INTRODUCTION TO CAEL

Climate Action East Linton (aka East Linton Melting Pot as formerly known) is a friendly, informal bunch of people who care deeply about the climate and biodiversity crises.

CAEL works locally to facilitate activities in the East Linton area which enable low carbon lifestyles.

CAEL does this through:

- Raising awareness of climate related issues and sharing knowledge

- Inspiring constructive practical action, particularly those which are easy and affordable

- Promoting the sharing and learning of practical skills

- Working on activities and projects which enable low carbon lifestyles, local community resilience and the resilience of our local natural environment

- Lobbying decision makers

There are regular meetings, a number of themes and projects. Anyone interested is very warmly welcome!
