There are many activities in the area for children. The local villages and towns have play parks, run by the Council. East Linton has a fun skate park for the older children, a super play park for younger and older children, football pitches and tennis courts.

Lauderdale park in Dunbar has a superb play park for children with the cafe in the grounds being especially child friendly.

East Links Family Park

East Links Family Park at Dunbar allows children to get close to animals and ride on their steam train, amongst many other activities. Visit their website here: http://www.eastlinks.co.uk.

There are various stables in the area that offer horse riding, or you could try surfing or join in East Lothian Council's summer activies programme, some details are available online or from the local library. The County Rangers also arrange a variety of guided walks and activities during the year.
