TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - B1407 THE DEAN TO NEWBYTH - CARRIAGEWAY PATCHING - MON 22nd APRIL to FRI 3rd MAY 2024

East Lothian Councils are currently undertaken carriageway patching work on the B1407 from 30mph signs near The Dean to its Junction with Newbyth Road which started on Monday 15th April 2024 under a 5-day notice closure.

Meaning there will be no restrictions will be in place on Saturday 20th or Sunday 21st April 2024. Bus Service 120 will continue to use the agreed diversion route on these days.

A road closure has been approved and will be closed from Monday 22nd April to 3rd May 2024. (Closed at weekend)

To comply with current Health & Safety legislation, it will be necessary to close the road to through vehicular traffic for the duration of the works.

Pedestrian and emergency access will always be maintained.

Refuse and recycling bins will be emptied as normal.
