We have a vacancy for a Community Councillor. Read the minutes on our website for more about what we do.
We meet 10 times a year on the first Thursday of the month at 7.30pm in The Stables at Prestonkirk. You may also need to attend other meetings, some online, with connected groups such as the Area Partnership.
You'll need to be prepared to do your share of various jobs including emailing, chasing up projects and being a contact point for your neighbours. We act as liaison between residents and East Lothian Council and also public bodies such as Scottish Water, Police, Network Rail.
For someone willing to make a full contribution it's a great opportunity to help make a difference to the place where we live!
