2.0 CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Postholders for the year were:
J Priest Chairwoman; A Cosgrove Vice-chair; M Strachan Secretary and J Robson Treasurer.
Shelagh Richards, representing Whitekirk and Tyninghame, resigned during the year due to work commitments so we are two members short.
This year we have, among other things:
• produced a lengthy response to the Main Issues Report of the Local Development Plan
● purchased three Public Access defibrillators
● installed a noticeboard at Whitekirk and repaired the Whittingehame board
● paid for a noticeboard for Tyninghame Hall
• supported the Horticultural Society in keeping East Linton blooming.
• replaced some of the Christmas lights and planned new ones.
• continued to support the Friends of John Muir Country Park work group and volunteer path wardens and obtained further Paths for All funding.
• carried a baton for the Commonwealth Games 2014
● agreed a series of traffic management options for East Linton
● produced a Community Resilience information leaflet
● consulted on and begun a plan to improve the footway on Preston Road
● raised the issue of the blocked Longstone Right of Way at the Park
● had the pavement rebuilt around the Square and, after many years, seen the pavement we requested built beside Haddington Road
We have reported numerous broken streetlights, signs and potholes to ELC.
Members continued to represent the Dunpender community on various groups and at a number of consultations and meetings this year including ELC Bus Forum, RELBUS, RAGES, CAPP, Area Partnerships, Lafarge, East Linton Community Hall, the Lynton Centre, Leader LAG, John Muir Country Park and Joint Laws Advisory Groups and the Local Access Forum.
We have not managed to produce Dunpender News this year but have written a short report each month for the East Linton District Advertiser as well as ensuring our news is on the website.
Thanks go once again to Alastair Seagroatt who looks after our website, www.eastlinton.uk.com , to Mrs Taylor who takes the minutes for our meetings and to all members for their hard work throughout the year.

3.0 TREASURER’S REPORT
Mr Robson presented the audited accounts for 2014/2015.
The 2014/2015 Accounts were audited in April, confirmed to be correct with the Treasurer's records, and a certified copy passed to Internal Audit at East Lothian Council.
The Income of £4,580.53 was significantly more than the previous financial year's (128% more), largely due to the Co-Operative Society's generous donation towards a PAD defibrillator, and recovery of the Walks leaflet costs from the Local Priorities budget.
Expenditure at £4,459.59 was correspondingly more than 2013/2014 (49%), mainly because of the Defibrillator, and the revision and reprint of the DCC Walks leaflet, costs of £1,342.60 and £1,430.00 respectively. Other smaller donations and funding, totalling £818.32, covered the Fountain maintenance, the John Muir anniversary celebration, East Linton Gala first aid provision, and the Rennie/Kingsburgh path maintenance. Most of these were recovered from our Local Priorities budget, controlled by East Lothian Council.
The final cash balance for 2014/2015 was £2,100.11, comprising of £389.36 in the Current Account (BUSINESS) and £1,710.75 in the Council Grants Account (TREASURERS).
Copies of the Abstract and Notes to the Accounts, in digital format, were circulated to Members for the May 2015 Meeting. Should anyone wish to query any figures in the Accounts, or require a fuller explanation, please contact the Treasurer.
